OLIVE FORK AND SPOON - LONG HANDLE
10 1/4 in.

Here is a coveted and highly unusual Olive Spoon and Fork made by Gorham ca. 1870. Note the bright-cut engraving work along the handle and inside the spoon bowl and fork tines. This was and continues to be a highly innovative design, as Gorham incorporated a rectangular prism in the handle and adorned the pieces with fabulous hand engraving work. Made famous in its Isis design, Gorham whimsically experimented with this style, seeming to spare no expense in the making of such items. This spoon and fork combination measures 10 1/4 inches.
