These lobed salt cellars are rimmed with a unique border of alternate beading and opposed scrolls.  The body of the items bear flourishing, almost floral, scrolls at each corner, reflecting a strong Rococo influence.  Each is marked to indicate assay in Chester, England, 1901-02.  The maker’s mark is CC.
