Bailey, Banks, & Biddle Co. began operation in 1832 as Bailey & Kitchen Co. and has continued to make silver articles of exceptional artistry through to the present day. They are one of the first to use the English standard of 925/100 silver in America, the previous standard having been 900/1000. This six-piece tea set, made circa 1900, is one of the heaviest we have ever carried weighing in at a total of 202.71 troy ounces. Included are the coffee pot, teapot, hot water kettle, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, and waste bowl. The hot water kettle measures 12 1/2 inches tall.
