This sterling sugar bowl and matching creamer was hand made by Carl Poul Peterson, a renown Danish silversmith apprenticed under Georg Jensen between 1908 and 1913. He married Jensen's daughter, Inger, in 1922, and relocated to Montreal, Canada in 1929. After working for the famous Henry Birks & Son for twelve years, he produced sivlerware on hi own. This set bears hand-hammer marks throughout the bowls.
